Dynatect is a market leader in cable carriers, offering both plastic and metal solutions. It also operates the longest cable carrier test facility in North America and introduced the industry’s first hybrid carrier that combines the advantages of metal and plastic for long-travel applications.
Dynatect’s Nylatrac® TS Series cable carriers with aluminum armor plates are used on this high-speed, multi-axis automatic press feed.

Work cells and machining centers often require specialized doors that allow temporary access while remaining closed during hazardous operations. Dynatect offers a wide range of machine tool doors, including slatted metal doors, continuous metal doors, fabric doors, and hybrid configurations.
This includes technologies that secure high-speed safety doors, laser protection doors, as well as 3D protective coverage with fabric roll-up doors and roof-mounted covers.
Large machine tools, such as planer mills, are often installed partially below floor level, creating potentially hazardous pits. Operators frequently need to remove pit grates or slats to perform maintenance.
Dynatect’s walk-on metal roll-up covers provide a safer alternative. Typically constructed from reinforced stainless steel, these covers allow partial access to the pit while helping prevent falls in areas that remain closed. Motorized versions are also available.
Large CNC machining centers require special solutions to reduce the impact of dust and noise on surrounding work areas, while still allowing access for loading and unloading large parts and tooling. Dynatect’s retractable roof covers were developed to contain airborne debris and contamination.
These covers are available in either a standard fold or an inverted fold design, eliminating interference with the machining center’s travel. They can move at speeds up to 60 meters per minute and support accelerations over 1G.
The roof cover can also be combined with a vertical door to fully enclose a work cell while still allowing overhead crane access.

Precision ground ball screws serve as the primary drive component in many machine tool applications. When combined with the appropriate ballnut, they offer high accuracy, excellent repeatability, and minimal backlash.
Dynatect’s LSI precision ground ball screws provide lead accuracy of ±0.0005″, diameters up to 6″, and lengths up to 67 feet. Dynatect also offers three types of ball return systems—button, end cap, and tube—each extensively tested for performance.

In machine tools, moving parts must be shielded from work processes while still maintaining unobstructed motion. However, static protective enclosures are often not feasible due to the close proximity of these parts.
