Shown here is a high-throughput automatic strapping machine from Wulftec, equipped with Dynatect’s plastic cable carrier. The carrier is designed for high-speed operation, vertical mounting, long-lasting durability, and self-supporting performance.

Dynatect’s bellows are ideal for automated positioning equipment – including heavy duty applications. Pictured here is a hydraulic lift used in a Northern Canada’s wet, cold outdoor environment servicing mining railroad cars. It is critical that the bellows (yellow and black) remain pliable and durable in this extreme application to protect operators from the lift mechanisms, while also protecting the mechanisms from dirt, debris, and foreign objects.

Dynatect’s VF Doors are ideal for unit load formation equipment such as palletizers, stretch wrappers, and strapping systems. These operations often present hazards to nearby personnel and require a physical barrier—vertical fabric safety doors—since light curtains alone are not sufficient to contain the process.

Unlike manual gates or doors that slow down the entire operation, Dynatect’s automated doors move at speeds up to 44 inches per second. This allows quick loading and unloading, while re-establishing a secure barrier to keep operators safe during automated cycles.

These photos show a pallet handling process (by Xigent Automation Systems) where an automated safety door is installed at the entrance to a robotic cell, through which pallets are conveyed into the building for automatic pallet restacking.

Polyclutch® slip clutches provide an added level of safety and protection for both the machine and its operators. The pneumatic Slip-Aire model allows tension adjustment during operation.

Cranes are a key application in material handling. Large crane systems often use hydraulic cylinders that must operate reliably over long periods between maintenance and inspection. In this case, the original bellows were failing due to sagging.

Dynatect was brought in to engineer an improved solution. The new bellows design featured stiffer neoprene nylon, an optimized extension-to-retraction ratio, and easier installation. Dynatect supplied a durable sewn bellows capable of withstanding outdoor conditions and internal exposure to heavy grease lubricants. A zipper closure was added to facilitate installation and future maintenance access.
