About the Gortite® Brand

The Gortite name dates back to 1945, when Gerald O’Rourke founded A&A Manufacturing in Wisconsin. The brand prefix “G.O.R.”- derived from his initials – was used to label many early innovations and later grew into umbrella brands such as Gortite and Gortrac. Since 2014, the company has operated under the unified name Dynatect.

Gortrac® Cable & Hose Carriers

Gortrac is a legacy brand of Dynatect, known for high-quality cable and hose carrier systems used to protect and guide moving cables and hoses in industrial machinery. Originally focused on metal cable track, the Gortrac product family has expanded to include both metal and plastic designs tailored for a variety of applications and environments.

Thodacon services Europe, Asia, and North America. In 2019, Dynatect acquired Thodacon Machine Tool Accessories in China (established 2007) and Thodacon GmbH in Germany (established 2013).

• Thodacon (Thodacon Machine Tool Accessories), was founded in China. The company manufactures machine tool protection solutions, including way wipers, covers, and cable carriers.
• Thodacon Werkzeugmaschinenschutz GmbH was founded in Kolbermoor, Germany as the sales office of Thodacon China to service the European machine tool market.

Steinbock

Thodacon GmbH acquired Steinbock in 2018. Steinbock GmbH was founded in 2015 as a distributor for machine tool accessories.
