KOE Series Enclosed Cable Carriers

The Nylatube KOE series is a small to medium size range of standard enclosed plastic carrier. Mounting holes are part of each link and the lids on the outer radius of the carrier can hinge open. The KOE series is excellent for robotics, light industrial and chip load applications.

  • Inside Width: 24 to 134 mm (0.95″ to 5.28″)
  • Inner Height (B):  10 to 38 mm (0.39″ to 1.50″)
  • Curve Heights (H):  76 to 351 mm (3″ to 13.8″)

Weight Load Chart

  • Find the weight you want to put in the cable carrier on the left side of the chart (additional load).
  • Then follow that row across until you get to the maximum unsupported length line.
  • Unsupported length (a.k.a. unsupported span) is the maximum distance possible between the moving end mounting bracket and the topmost link of the curve.
  • For a standard cable carrier mounted with the fixed end at center of travel, this length is 1/2 the system travel + 1 link pitch.
  • This length can be greater or shorter if the fixed end is offset mounted from the center of travel.
  • Using the load chart below, for example: an additional load of 7.44 kg/m (5 lbs./ft) (2,3 kg.) can have a maximum unsupported span of ~2591 mm (8.5 ft.)
