Motorized Bed Cover


Dynatect offers aluminum Motorized Bed Covers for service bodies, delivering convenience, security, and advanced functionality.  

Designed to operate with 12VDC or 24VDC systems, the covers feature motorized open/close functionality and can be hardwired or operated remotely, allowing users to stop the cover at any position. They operate at speeds of up to 10 inches per second 254 mm per second (10 inches), incorporating integrated safety mechanisms, and water mitigating features.  The covers offer a theft-resistant design with an optional keyed bypass for manual access when needed. 

The covers fit standard service bodies with 9-foot equipment beds and have the versatility for applications up to 1524 mm wide (5 feet) and 3657.6 mm long (12 feet).  Covers can be just horizontal, or both horizontal and vertical 457.2 mm (18 inches) of minimum vertical travel.

Weather Resistance 

The default design for Motorized Bed Covers include the water-mitigating features, including: 

    • Weather seal: Interlocking ribs with a seal between each rib shed water to rails  
    • Water management: Gutters in the rails and transition corners route water off the cover to drain points  
    • Stainless steel canister: Routes water to a set of drain pipes
