Fabric-Based Retractable Cover for Industrial Way Protection and Guarding Applications

Dynatect’s RollGuard covers are customizable roll-up solutions for machine guarding. Each unit features a coated or uncoated industrial textile attached to a spring-loaded roller. An optional metal housing is available to protect the retraction mechanism from external elements.

These fabric-based roll-up systems provide a simple, cost-effective barrier against accidental contact with machine components, while offering protection from UV exposure, splash, and light debris.

  • Additional protection of roll-up mechanism

  • Possibility of providing wipers or brushes to prevent the entry of contaminants

  • Grey primered as standard, optional custom-painted in RAL colors
  • Factory-preloaded to customer´s specification or to Dynatect standard and ready to mount

  • There is little room for other protective cover options,
  • Simple mounting and retrofitting are required,
  • Cost and delivery time are important factors,
  • High speed and acceleration are needed,
  • The complete seal of a bellows is not required

Options

  • RollGuards are available with mounting brackets, or with a protective canister with mounting surface in desired orientation.
  • Optional brush or scraper to clean the shade as it retracts to protect the roll-up hardware.
  • Channels are available to guide the shade as well as minimize the amount of contamination getting past the shade
  • The end of the shade is fixed to the machine with customer’s choice of bracket configuration.
  • Wide variety of standard and specialty materials available to suit the application. (see list below)
