Transfer Hoses

Dust-Controlled Bulk Material Handling

Dynatect loading hoses and bellows enable clean and controlled transfer of powders, granules, abrasive media, or hot bulk materials into silo trucks, railcars, containers, or ships. Common applications include milling and feed operations, chemical and cement plants, sugar processing, malting facilities, salt and coal handling, and food production.

Rings of spring-steel wire are sewn into the hoses for consistent folding and shape retention. Optional spiral springs provide added stability, and screw, cable, or electric-cable guide systems can be provided for precise vertical movement.

Construction

Available in nominal diameters from 200 mm to 2000 mm. Designed for reliable operation and long service life:

  • Spring steel wire rings are sewn into each fold of the bellows for flexible movement
  • Coil springs in the fold valleys add structural support
  • Smooth-walled hoses use integrated wire rings to maintain shape and stability
  • Material selection depends on the type and temperature of the bulk material being handled.

Types

  • Single transfer hoses with filter ventilation: The most economical solution when less dust is involved. The dust-free air escapes into the environment.
  • Twin transfer hoses with ventilation: For filling closed containers, preventing dust-laden air from escaping.

Common Material Options

  • PVC-coated fabric (ideal for indoor loading)
  • CR / CSM-coated fabric (for outdoor use)
  • Coated chrome leather, Kevlar® (for abrasive materials)
  • Antistatic PVC canvas (for combustible dusts such as coal)
  • Food-safe coated fabric (for food-grade applications)
  • Aramid or fiberglass (for high-temperature materials)

Dynatect will produce an appropriate loading hose according to your specifications.

Easy Installation

Installation is straightforward: a terminal flange is mounted to the silo or conveyor system, allowing quick attachment of the loading hose or bellows. The lower end can be equipped with a filling cone that fits securely into the openings of silo vehicles or containers.
